Yair Forest harvesting

Posted on Thursday, 12 June 2008 03:01PM by Andrew Case

Harvesting operations will be carried out over the next 8 weeks within the Yair Forest block. The felling operation will be in the South-East of the block and part of the SUW runs adjacent to the felling area, therefore walkers will be diverted away from the area until the work was complete. The diversion doesn't add any serious length to the route and FCS will be looking to open the SUW as soon as is possible. As this operation isn't the easiest to tackle, we will also inform you should there be any delay in progress with the work that is planned.
