Brigton But 'n' Bens situated 8 miles from Newton Stewart and 2 miles from Glentrool Visitor Centre.

Converted farm steading on small working farm located in a peaceful situation on the edge of the Galloway Forest Park where the rivers Cree and Minnoch converge. The accommodation consists of 3 self-catering units - 1 single and 2 twin-bedded - with open plan kitchen with breakfast bar and sitting room area. Bathroom has shower. Centrally heated with T.V.

Horse owners - we offer grass livery/stabling with use of outdoor menage. Lessons with a qualified instructress can also be arranged for those wishing to brush up their skills. There are many good forest rides.

Walkers - the S.U.W. borders Brigton farm - short walk 9 - an ideal opportunity to take a break from the S.U.W. and explore the many short walks in the area.

Cyclists - Route 7 passes Brigton road end. Cyclists can join the 7 Stanes track at Glentrool Visitor Centre for a strenuous days cycling or the less arduous 2 hour route around Loch Trool.

Birdwatchers- R.S.P.B. Reserve - 2 miles from Brigton. The Wood of Cree reserve is the home of wood warblers, flycatchers and redstarts with views over the River Cree.

Fishermen - fishing permits for the river Minnoch are available.

Newton Stewart offers - Golfers - an excellent 18 hole parkland course and there are a further two 9 hole and four 18 hole courses in Wigtownshire. Bowling- both indoor and outdoor. Tennis/Swimming - Merrick Centre
