Location Information

The Creebridge House Hotel sits in 3 acres of idyllic gardens and woodlands a mere 2 minutes walk from the bustling market town of Newton Stewart. Built in 1760 and originally home to the Earl of Galloway it has been tastefully converted into a 18 bedroom country house hotel.

'Bridge's Bar & Brasserie' with its beams and cosy, informal atmosphere offers fine selection of malt whiskies, beers and real ales. A daily changing specials menu using fresh seasonal produce with fish and seafood featuring strongly throughout high season is available all year round. The Brasserie menu offers a wide selection of dishes with the emphasis on fresh Scottish produce.

The newly re-furbished Garden Restaurant overlooks the landscaped gardens, offering fine dining in elegant surroundings, with formal but friendly service. The restaurant serves modern Scottish style cuisine from an a la carte menu. Vegetarians are cater for on all menus daily.

All our bedrooms are furnished to the highest standard including complementary tea and coffee making facilities with Scottish shortbread, radio alarms, direct dial telephone and en-suite bath and shower. Choose from garden view rooms, family rooms, our luxurious suite or four-poster rooms.

The hotel is the ideal venue for weddings/functions/conference and celebrations and is renowned for extending a warm welcome with personal service and hospitality.

Fully central heated with log fires in winter.

The Dumfries & Galloway region offers the opportunity for many leisure pursuits and the hotel specialises in arranging tailor-made golf/shooting/fishing breaks, as well as welcoming walkers and cyclists.
