Route Description
A cliff top walk, followed by sections of farmland and heather moor. Begin as for Walk 1, taking the lighthouse road to the A764. Following the Southern Upland Way markers, turn briefly left up the A 764 before crossing into a minor road. The route thereafter is waymarked to within half a mile of the southwestern part of Stranraer, passing Knockquhassan Reservoir on the way. On reaching the public road, walk down into Stranraer and return by bus to Portpatrick.
