Route Description
1. Walk up the track alongside the Polifferie Burn and cross the old bridge onto the open moor, following the now disused track uphill to join the current track a little distance below Moorbrock Farm. Pass behind the steading and ford the Poltie Burn.

2. The track continues N to the head of the Glen before returning on the opposite side. For most of its distance it is fairly level hovering around the 320 meter contour giving the walker plenty of opportunity to enjoy the scenery. After exiting the forest on open ground opposite Moorbrock the faint remains of old field systems can be seen.

3. At the track crossings go straight ahead. (It is however worth a short detour L along the uphill track to see the remains of an old enclosure.) The track leads down to the road where a R turn takes you back to the start point at Craigengillan.
