Route Description
1. Leave the car park heading south, shortly after crossing the bridge over the Fore Burn, cross the tussock grass beneath the pylon line and take the obvious fire break leading uphill (SE) on right. A vague path leads to the open hill where it becomes less distinct.

2. On open heather topped hill head roughly south across Darnaw to Craignell. The area is littered with small lochans and hillocks so in poor visibility careful navigation is required. A memorial to a crashed Dragonfly bi-plane is situated just to the east of Darnaw summit.

3. Retrace steps back to car park.
