Route Description
1. Leave the car park and head due north along the forest track, after approximately 1.5Km turn right and cross over the River Dee.

2. Follow the track right and then strike left up a rough fire beak keeping the quarry well to the right. Exit the trees and tramp NE across open hillside aiming for the large summit boulders of Darrou.

3. A short descent, slightly east of north leads across a boggy area. Aim for a shallow gully leading to the summit of Little Millyea and this will give you the driest line. Ascend Little Millyea.

4. Keep to the broad rough ridge, cross an old fence, then an old dyke and begin the climb onto the summit plateau of Meikle Millyea. Initially the climb is slightly easier about 30 meters west of the dyke, closing towards the dyke as you reach the summit. The true top lies to the west of the dyke, marked by a small cairn. A larger cairn and trig point on the east of the dyke are situated some 120 meters further north.

5. Retrace steps back to car park.
