Route Description
1. Leave the car park following the track named “Prof Hans Heiberg Road”, pass Burnhead Farm and continue uphill into the forest. Pass the Mary Watson road on the R, and at cross tracks go straight ahead towards the hill. At end of track just past a watch tower a path leads L to a stile over the fence.

2. Head diagonally L across deep heather for the dyke which is followed over Meikle Lump to the Trig Pillar on Meikle Millyea, about 100 meters L of the dyke. (In very poor visibility, the summit is near where the dyke joins another running roughly N to S.)

3. The true summit lies SW of the Trig Pillar, on the opposite side of the dyke running S. It is marked by a small cairn.

4. Return via outward route.
