The Southern Upland Way, Scotland’s coast to coast, stretches 212 miles from Portpatrick to Cockburnspath.
Crossing Dumfries and Galloway and the Scottish Borders, this challenging LDR passes through vast open countryside amongst some of Scotland’s most dramatic and unspoilt scenery.

our SUW Information Centre based directly on the route in St.John’s Town of
Dalry we provide information, services and support to assist walkers in traversing
Scotland’s coast to coast footpath; whether walking the whole way, the western
or eastern section or simply taking a short walking holiday along the SUW, based
at one of the many scenic towns or villages.
