Luggage Transfer Terms and Conditions
An ‘Item’ is defined as a single piece of luggage not exceeding 15kg. Prices quoted are per bag and NOT per person. Should the number of bags or weight be exceeded, we reserve the right and shall strictly implement the following T&C's accordingly.
- Items that are weighed by the carrier and exceeding 20kgs but below 23kgs will only be carried if a supplement of £25 per bag is received upon demand. Items over 23kgs will not be handled at any cost. The recovery of the luggage in question from the collection point where excess weight was identified shall rest with the walker. No refunds will be made if the service is suspended due to overweight or none payment of excess.
- Luggage is required to be available for collection by 9.15 am and we will have it delivered to the next address by 5.30 pm at the latest.
- The responsibility for insurance of the luggage in transit rests with the individual and not with the carrier. We therefore recommend that you do not include items of value or items that are easily damaged. - A deposit of 25% of the cost is required at the time of booking. This is non-refundable. The balance must be paid 21 days in advance of the Start Date. In the case of large groups special rates can be quoted.
- In the case of cancellation or change to the service being provided, be it in terms of number of bags or stopping points, the following refund policy will apply: Over 22 days before first collection 75% refund. Between 14 & 21 days 50% refund. Between 7 & 13 days 25% refund. Less than 7 days Zero refund.
- The service operates between Easter and the end of September. Services outside this period will be considered, dependent on demand.
- The prices are based on transfers moving from west to east. We will handle transfers east to west, but there may be a small supplementary charge.
