Portpatrick to Castle Kennedy
Portpatrick is a stunning location and we would advise anyone intending to walk the SUW to stay overnight before starting the walk.
An abundance of B&B’s and guest houses are available as well as good quality hotels serving excellent meals, seafood, real ales and of course whisky.
The SUW starts down at the harbour climbing up and over the cliff before heading inland on a fairly straight forward route to Castle Kennedy.
