Walking Holidays

2-galloway-trail.gif

There are many ways to complete the Southern Upland Way from one continuous walk to shorter sections depending very much on your ability and time available.

Whichever you choose we can assist in making your walking holiday an enjoyable and memorable experience.

The average and most popular duration to walk the SUW is 14 days, however, the route is becoming increasingly popular with walkers who, whilst wishing to complete the walk, are unable to do so in one single attempt and wish to tackle the route in shorter more manageable sections. The next option therefore is to walk the route in two sections, the western section from Portpatrick to Moffat (Beattock) and then returning to complete the eastern section from Moffat (Beattock) to Cockburnspath.
